About Me

Hi, I’m Angela Howe, and I’ve been teaching math, Pre-Algebra, Algebra and Geometry for more than 30 years,. Additionally, I have a B.S. and M.A. in secondary math education. I recently moved to Ponte Vedra where I am continuing my commitment to helping students unlock their academic potential in math.

As a highly qualified math educator, I offer one-on-one sessions to third through eleventh graders. With my individualized approach, I help each student strengthen their understanding and reach their full potential. I have extensive experience with students who have learning differences including ADHD and autism. My rate is $60 per hour with both online and in-person sessions available. Sessions are scheduled on a weekly basis and you will not be charged when on vacation or due to illness. Contact me today and we can schedule your first session.

Summer

Summer learning loss is a phenomenon where students start the academic year with achievement levels lower than where they were at the beginning of summer break. A recent study shows that the average student loses between 25 and 34 percent of school-year gains in math during the summer depending on grade level.

I can help your child be ready for the fall. With no school assignments to keep up with, we can focus on developing a strong foundation in math.
